Founded in 2015, New Yeller is a Gowanus, Brooklyn-based rock band. The band’s original songs set quirky and heartfelt lyrics to complex and catchy melodies. Inspired by a wide variety of musical styles, the band covers artists ranging from Brandi Carlile to Frank Zappa. They released their first album, Pandora's Regrets, in 2018, and released singles in 2020, 2024 and 2025. New Yeller’s music has been streamed on every continent except Antarctica, and played on radio stations including WEQX, Vermont Public Radio, Koradiorocks in Tokyo (the Mike Rogers Show), Folkal Point in Scotland, Northern Spirit Radio in Wisconsin, Radio Free Brooklyn, and CFBX 92.5FM in British Columbia.
